The Best Staff

It has always been my sincere belief that teachers are born and not made. I knew by the time I was five that I wanted to be a teacher. I loved the smell of the new books and the thrill of planning for another school year. There was always electricity in the air and it energized and excited me.

One day I would have my own classroom and it would be my turn to excite young minds about learning. I never considered doing anything else.

The training for the job comes second to the innate desire to teach. Like a professional golfer or tennis player, however, even with the passion you need the techniques. You need to know how children develop and how they learn. You need to know effective ways of presenting information and the methods for exciting and motivating the young learner.

You need to know how to spark their imagination to create a love of learning. Creating this open and joyous learning environment is one of the most important characteristics of the ideal preschool teacher.

Princeton Academy uses the above as a prototype for the staff they look to hire. The staff at Princeton Academy is committed to making children want to come to school. We have almost no staff turnover.

Our teachers are dedicated and caring and enthusiastic and exciting. They truly make learning fun. A school can only be as good as the teachers they hire and our staff has been a big force in making Princeton Academy a top of the charts preschool.
